Arohi Kothari: The gift of music was passed down to me

Mumbai, 28 July 2024 (UTN). Singer, Arohi Kothari of the V4 Once More band, says she inherited the talent of singing from Nanaji and her mother, both of whom were music teachers. She said, “The gift of music was passed down to me. As I grew up, I realized that I enjoyed being on stage, singing and dancing much more than my studies in MBA college.” Arohi mentions “during my school and college days I used to participate in several singing competitions and won prizes. I performed as a background voice artist for Gujarati TV serials. Also, at the age of 4, I was the youngest live singing artist for the All India Radio (Akashvani) programme named Meghdhanush''.  “As I grew up, with the support of my father and mother, choosing between a job and music became easy.   My father was happy to support my decision to be a singer despite knowing that it would not generate an income as good as a conventional job at least during the initial phase. I want to emphasize how grateful I am for the support of my family and friends in my musical journey. Their belief in me has been instrumental in my growth and success,” she added.  She has received formal training in Gujarati Sugam Sangeet and Indian classical music, but gradually, she moved towards Bollywood music training. She further shared that music holds a very special place in her life. Arohi and her other band members met in a music class, and their friendship and passion towards music inspired them to make this band.   “I've felt very comfortable and happy with them since the beginning. Our friendship inspired us to create this band. We were all singing as freelancers, but we realized that together, we could create magic on stage. We were meant to perform together,” she said. V4 Once More band is all set to release their new friendship song, and Arohi says the song is special because it represents who they are and what they want to show the world. She adds, “We want to show that friendship matters and stays with you through all walks of life. Apart from the lead singers of V4 Once More, I am also very grateful to have the best team of musicians who have come along with us since the beginning and helped us grow to the level that we are at today.”    Mumbai-Reporter,( Hitesh Jain ).

Networking and relationships are very important in the entertainment industry: Sumbul Touqeer

Sumbul Touqeer, who is seen in Kavya - Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, feels it’s important to be social in the entertainment industry as it helps build new connections and contacts. And she believes it is equally important to acknowledge these connections. She said, “Networking and relationships are very important in the entertainment industry. They lead to new opportunities and learning. I build my connections when I attend events, keeping genuine relationships with colleagues and supporting their projects.    I feel it's not just about making contacts but also about acknowledging relationships.” As an actor, she said that learning never stops and is crucial to her career. She said, “I make it a priority by learning from every experience and seeking mentorships to improve my skills. Currently, I'm focusing on enhancing my improvisation abilities and understanding character psychology better.” These skills help me perform better and stay flexible for different roles and challenges in the industry,” she added.   Sumbul also stressed that being adaptable is essential in the entertainment industry, as things change quickly here. She said, “I want to stay open to new ideas, constantly improve my skills, and take on different roles and challenges.  I know that setbacks are part of the journey, but I see them as chances to learn and grow. I feel that by staying strong and keeping my goals and beliefs in mind, I can bounce back stronger.” The entertainment industry is very competitive, and Sumbul agrees with that. She added, “Staying relevant can be tough. So I focus on the quality of my work rather than the pressure to always be in the spotlight.” She further said.   “I want to build a lasting career for myself by doing good work and taking on meaningful projects.and at the end, I feel it's all about being real, staying ambitious, and letting my work talk.” Being a public figure brings a lot of responsibility and scrutiny, and Sumbul feels it’s part of the job. She said, “I always handle this by staying true to my values, focusing on my work, and maintaining a positive relationship with my audience.” “I take my responsibilities seriously and try to be a positive influence both on and off-screen. I feel it's all about using the platform responsibly and understanding that sabko apne opinions rakhne ka haq hai, and it's up to you how you take it. Hansa Singh: We all have different personalities for different people

Actress and tarot card reader-healer Hansa Singh, who has been part of projects like Human, Criminal Justice 3, and the films Hunterrr and Goodbye, says that we often portray ourselves differently in front of different people. She adds that, when it comes to her, people perceive her in different ways as well. “I would say I am exotic, eclectic, mysterious, desirable, and human. I get a lot of adjectives from people about me, which are very specific and to an extent voyeuristic. A human is filled with complexities, so he or she will have different personalities for different people,” she says.   When asked if she seeks validation, she says, “There was a time when I, as an actor, needed validation. In fact, this still continues as it’s a process for me. But for me, as a person and human being, I don't need anyone's validation as I am true to myself and my universe knows that.” Meanwhile, she says that staying in your comfort zone all the time can restrict your growth. “Comfort zones are needed to recuperate and rejuvenate. But one has to step out of their comfort zone to know life and oneself better. As an actor, stepping out of your comfort zone to challenge yourself is essential for growth.   Opportunities lie outside the comfort zone,” she says. She adds, “Leaving my house and testing my destiny all by myself was the first big step out of my comfort zone. From a close-knit family to a lone warrior, moving from Delhi to Bombay was a huge step that I took. It has made me see myself in a different light. I got to know my strengths more than my weaknesses. I thank the Almighty for paving the way for me. Being in the film industry was a huge step for me as I was coming from a conservative middle-class family.” “I also stepped out of my comfort zone when I did the film Hunterrr. Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri's debut film Laila Majnu to re-release in Kashmir

Mumbai, 28 July 2024 (UTN). While Bollywood films rule hearts across the country, they have also started captivating the audience in Kashmir. With theaters starting in the valley, Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar which was shot in Kashmir received immense love. After this amazing response, Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri's debut film Laila Majnu is now being re-released in Kashmir.    This one too was shot in the valley and looked visually stunning, with a gripping storyline. Laila Majnu will be released in theaters in Srinagar on 2nd August. The film was originally released in September 2018. It was directed by Sajid Ali and presented by Imtiaz Ali. Ekta Kapoor had bankrolled the project.  Both Avinash and Triptii have come a long way in their careers. While Avinash's last film Madgaon Express became a huge hit, Triptii had a release last week which emerged to be quite successful commercially. She said, “In Bollywood, I admire Deepika Padukone's makeup sense the most. She always manages to strike the perfect balance between glamorous and natural.” “Her looks are elegant, versatile, and enhance her natural beauty without overshadowing it,” she added. Sherleen further shared that she does her own makeup sometimes, especially for events, or parties when she wants a personal touch.   She added, “It usually takes me about 25 minutes to an hour, depending on the look I'm going for.” She also shared some makeup tips, and said that one must prep their skin first. “Always start with a clean, moisturized face. This helps makeup go on smoothly and last longer. Then use a primer. A good primer is essential for creating a smooth base and ensuring your makeup stays put. Blend everything well, whether it’s foundation, eyeshadow, or blush. Blending is key to achieving a natural look. Highlight, contour, and enhance your features using these techniques.   Then set your makeup using a setting spray or powder,” she added. What about don’ts? “Less is often more. तेजस कोठारी: संगीत हमेशा से मेरे जीवन का हिस्सा रहा है

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit Blames Armaan for Ruining His Happiness

Mumbai, 28 July 2024 (UTN). In today's episode, Armaan tries to explain everything about him and Ruhi to Rohit, but Rohit shouts at him, saying everything was a lie and that because of him, both he and Ruhi were sad. Rohit accuses Armaan of causing him to leave his own home. Madhav was about to slap Rohit, but Kaveri stops and warns him, and tells the kids to take Rohit inside. After everyone leaves, Abhira argues with Kaveri, insisting she needs to talk to Rohit, but Kaveri tells her she has no right to interfere.   Armaan sits alone, recalling all the harsh words Rohit said. Abhira comes to console him. Later, Kajal suggests to Kaveri that they should bring Ruhi back to the house so that Rohit has a reason to stay and doesn't run away again. Madhav and Vidya disagree, but Charu suggests that maybe Ruhi and Rohit can reconcile. Ruhi packs her bags to go to her friend's home, saying she needs some time to clear her mind. As she is leaving, Kaveri comes to the Goenka House and says she has come to take Ruhi home.
